Acid reflux and filtered water

I was looking in to having a reverse osmosis water filtration put in , but after reading not to if you have severe acid reflux. Looking back I have tried filtered water and can’t drink it. I tolerate ice mountain but have to have extra flavoring or I’ll start belching it up. Has anyone else noticed this problem?
