ACE II inhibitor side effect = celiac and collagenous colitis

I have celiac, IgA collagenous colitis, IgA Kappa MGUS and now stage 3a CKD (kidney). All managed with diet/exercise. So, the CKD is likely associated with MGUS (normal weight 70 yo) and the nephrologist prescribed 1.25 mg/day Lisinopril (1/2 minimum dose ACE II inhibitor) for kidney protection (not blood pressure). Day 2 had eye twitch, irregular heartbeat, and leg cramps (Lisinopril increases blood potassium). OK, those went away, but day 3 started ramping up normally asymptomatic GI system. I went off Lisinopril on day 7 because the side effects mimic severe gluten and colitis (balance, watery diarrhea, joint/muscle, and others). So, heads up if you have autoimmune problems. Listed side effects of Lisinopril are primarily dry cough (not), but apparently can be much worse.
