I was diagnosed with Adult Onset Secondary Erythromelialgia June2022. I first showed symptoms in fall of 2016. I was diagnosed with MS April 2001. It's been a difficult journey. Both conditions feed off each other.
I've been on Tramadol. I'm allowed 400 mg in 24 hours. However, it barely touches the excruciating pain EM causes. I've tried lidocaine with ketamine infusions without success. I've tried gabapentin, same result. LDN/ low dose naltrexone, same result.
I can't do heat therapy as I am heat intolerant due to my MS.
I also have peripheral neuropathy in my toes. It feels as if I have electrical shocks snapping my toes.
I'm emotionally, physically, and mentally drained dealing with MS and EM.
