A PSA question

Posted by stew80 @stew80, Jul 26 10:29am

I started Eligard in March this year (2025). PSA dropped from 10 to 0.6 a month later. Then in May it crept up to 0.7.
I recently began 20 sessions of EBRT (8 done to date). Had a PSA test this week (now 5 months into ADT). It's still 0.7.
I'm wondering - is this the 'nadir' for me and why doesn't it go to undetectable? I'm 4+5 with no spread beyond one seminal vessel. There is cribriform evident.

This is one reason I asked about the history of PSA.

I now in fact work on making myself less available

What was the injection? My husband has prostae cancer and his PSA was 38.8, biopsy confirmed cancer with gleason score of 9/10. He received cancer pills everyday for one year and lupron injection for two years. So far, PSA is zero.

Does he have metastatic cancer?

Well I'm glad for you because I do;although my urologist said I'd be ok as long as i take my nubeqa and injections every 3 months. I pray for your husband that his doesn't spread. Thanks for your reply
