A new resource that could be helpful in summarizing what works

I’ve been dealing with idiopathic PN since 2020 and have recently really spent a lot of time researching. Just came across this website, run by a woman who also has PN and is not selling anything. I find it is a great resource that presents current, legitimate info on supplements and other treatments that can help.

Hello @carolynpatten, Thank you for starting this discussion and letting other members have another resource to help us learn more about neuropathy and possible treatments to help us find some relief. I normally don't recommend websites with a ".com" domain just because they are commercial but this one does have some really easy to read and understand information to help us learn more about neuropathy, treatments and more. I was glad to see their affiliate disclaimer at the bottom of the page. While they aren't selling anything, they are providing links to what some patients have found helpful and are earning a small commission which I think is probably OK.

"How We Earn Revenue
Some of the links on this website are affiliate links. This means that if you click on a link and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. This commission helps us maintain this website and continue creating free educational content about neuropathy."

Hi - I'm just new on here - almost 75 & trying to deal with this wretched thing. Have also just found the neuropathyresources website & am finding it very helpful information on nerve supplements etc. Also, is showing me how much information & guidance I am not, repeat not, receiving from my doctors in trying to navigate my way through this. I am just completely blown away by the stories I'm reading & the extent of life-changing physical changes people are having to endure. Also the unbelievable number of people that are affected, many who are having much more difficulty than I am. I pray for the relief & knowledge everyone deserves.

Welcome @boggmjb669, One does have to do their own research to learn as much as possible about this condition and how to manage it on a day to day basis. I'm also high on the Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy (https://www.foundationforpn.org/living-well/) and especially their YouTube channel where they store all of their previous webinars - https://www.youtube.com/@foundationforperipheralneu4122.

I found Connect back in 2016 and was so happy to find a site with so many members sharing their experiences and how they manage their day to day life. I shared my neuropathy journey in another discussion here - https://connect.mayoclinic.org/comment/310341/.

If you are looking for other neuropathy topics, there are many different discussions in the Neuropathy Support Group here on Connect. The search function on Connect is great if you are trying to find more specific topics. But you can also just scan through the many different discussions in the group if you want. Here's the list of all of the Neuropathy Support Group discussions - https://connect.mayoclinic.org/group/neuropathy/
