One of my favorite concerts! But even better was years later when I was doing dishes and heard Personal Jesus blaring out from my 12 yo daughter’s room. I dared not to make a peep that DM was/is my all time greatest soul comfort foods.

and then Just a few minutes later in 1993….

After seven days He was quite tired, so God said

There is comfort in hearing out-loud the voice we’ve known all along, long before we’ve been able to understand the song.

Yes it’s a fine line, isn’t it? I have a 13 year old and she says I “ruin” her songs when I give any indication of liking/knowing them 🤣
