A lump in pubic area

Over the last 3 months a painless lump has grown in the space where the right testicle descended from 82 yrs ago. Could it be a hernia. Thanks

Sounds like an inguinal hernia, could be a lymph node. Either way, I'd want it treated.

Thanks Gently. Goes flat when I lie down . Seeing GP wed.

It could also be a inguinal hydrocele cyst. I have one on the left side. Most are benign and do not require treatment. Are you able to gently manipulate it and move it up and down the inguinal canal? See a urologist. You can google "inguinal cyst male" for more information.

Yes, the lump goes away when I lie down. Definitely inguinal hernia. Seeing Dr wed. Thanks.
