4 years in stage 4 anyone, I’ve gone zero carb? Carnivore diet?

As many of y’all understand how miserable Lipton can make you feel I’m coming off of it a second time now. I’ve gone strict carnivore diet since end of August hoping it will keep tumor from returning. Original diagnosis was advanced stage 4 Gleason 9&10 12 of 12
Original treatment was Degaralix, lupron, 6 decetaxal chemotherapy treatments and 47 proton therapy treatments. Was good for two years after. Then last November a tumor showed up between #4 rib and lung. That was treated with 3 heavy radiation treatments and started Zytiga that made my gut health awful. Went 8 months with horribly upset GI problems lost 50 pounds, then switched to carnivore diet and within a week my gut health has improved by 95% and all my aches and pains have disappeared completely within a month. I’m getting my bloodwork done today will know by next week how PSA is. Just wondering if anyone had tried carnivore/zero sugar and gotten any results yet.

Diet is a very personal thing, but I've always been fond of Michael Pollen's common sense advice in his book The Omnivore's Dilemma:

"Eat food, not too much, mostly plants."

By "food," he means something your grandparents would have recognized as food as soon as they saw it.

By "not too much" he means just eat until you're no longer hungry rather than eating until you're full (we tend to mix the two up in North America).

For "mostly plants" you can follow our grandparents' practice of quartering your dinner plate: cover 2/4 with vegetables, 1/4 with a "starch" (like rice or potatoes), and 1/4 with a high-protein (like meat, tempeh, or black beans).

My Doctor recommends ice cream ,cake, anything fattening for breakfast. why starve your body of the foods it's enjoyed your whole life? That train left the station a long time ago. Enjoy your food and let the treatments hammer the cancer.
