2 things that worked short term.

Last night my neuropathy was really bad after a day of shopping. I decided to try CeraVe itch relief moisturizing lotion which has an “external analgesic” called pramoxine hcl. Relief was instant and lasted until 3am.
I was able to fall asleep.
Another thing which helped was Ibuprofen cream applied to my sciatic nerves pass through the buttocks. I developed neuropathy after doing a seated hip exercise. At one point I thought the neuropathy was gone. I had to stop the cream because I needed high dose prednisone for GCA. Will resume when the prednisone dose is low.

I have found relief also with the CeraVe itch relief moisture g cream. I have been using it daily on my lower legs for quite a few years and it now usually gives me a whole day of relief. If I skip a day the itching returns. Also have started using it on my back not quite as helpful there but it does quiet the itching returns down
