1 lymph node positive

My Husband is 1 month out from a robotic surgery of the pancreas.
Also spleen removal. Had a drain still draining,the surgeon said she removed 4 lymph nodes and one was positive for cancer.
He did 6 months of chemo prior to surgery, now they are suggesting radiation because he already did the 6 month of chemo,
We would love to hear from someone that this has happened to.

I can only speak from experience. My tumor is wrapped around major blood vessels so I opted out of surgery. They would have needed to take out my pancreas, spleen, and stomach. They did 12 rounds of chemo and 15 rounds of radiation. I feel good today. Tumor is dead. I’ll have to get checked every 3 months to watch for metastasis. It’s nerve wracking but I try to put it out of my head and enjoy each day!
