How much do you think the LDN helps for pain? I tried to take it twice, but each time I got up to .5mg, I got severe insomnia. I already have trouble sleeping, but the LDN made it much worse. I had high hopes that it would help, not sure if I'll try it again.

I now take 2.5mg melatonin and 75mg Trazodone for sleep. When in a flare, I take .5mg cyclobenzaprine which helps a bit. I'm working with a functional medicine DNP now and slowing trying several supplements.

What type of magnesium do you take and how much? I'm going to start taking magnesium glycinate soon.

I guess people tolerate these meds differently. My NP actually tested me before prescribing anything because I have a history of reacting oppositely to some otc and prescription meds. A specific test works to show which of certain meds are more effective than others.
I do very well on the low dose naltrexone. We started on the lowest dose and increased it as we found I tolerated it. I found it cut my pain by almost a third. I have insomnia, so while drowsiness is less of an issue for me, I still only take the LDN no earlier than 30 minutes before bed time.
