I like your spirit of fight mode, if you feel something in your gut you go for it, you stick with it. I don't have much knowledge in any of these areas but is it not possible to give him platelets that he's low on through transfusion? Do you have support while you're going through these difficult times? As Debra mentioned - Hospital case manager, social worker or chaplain? Who is there to be your Advocate while you are advocating for your son?
