I saw my Endocrinologist this week and I had recently lost another pound, but it’s still slow. She referred me to their nutritionist. She says my calories are too low. I don’t dispute that. And, my carbs are very low too.

Hey 👋

So glad to see your post!
? Are you losing inches?

I stopped the medication because around the second week of December I was waiting on insurance approval for a Myleogram procedure until I saw what it involved and promptly told the specialist I preferred the MRI.

We also did a holiday roadtrip to Illinois to spend Christmas with our family.

During the holidays I gave myself permission to gain 10 pounds of which I gained 5lbs and loss 4 of those gained pounds to date.

The reason I asked you about inches is because I noticed that I am loosing inches faster than weight.

Therefore I don't rely too heavily upon the scale because the body can hold onto water reflecting in the weight number.

Another thing that is helpful is fasting because it has helped me to reduce inflammation in my body to exercise within my health limits.

I push myself to get in at least 2000 steps a day. A small number for others but a milestone for me. 😁

I also have an appointment with my Baristric Doctor who initially wanted to recommend me to a nutritionist.

I opted to forego seeing a nutrition specialist. I explained to him that I don't have a problem with eating, or what to eat or over eat. My problem is I am not losing weight with the little that I do eat. Than he suggested the medication.

I restarted it this week and I will see how it goes.

Awwww, our little temples we live. Gotta live them.

Please share your nutrition visit experience if you inclined to do so.

Enjoy your weekend!😉
