Pokey breast bump?

Posted by mommajess @mommajess, Jan 8 11:46am

So a few months ago I noticed a hard small bump in my right breast. So I’ve been spending the last few months getting to know my breast and what’s normal during my hormonal changes along with my period and other wise. But this tiny small lump isn’t going away? My boobs are swollen now due to hormone disruption, I’m no where near my period and I can feel the painful lumpy water balloon like bumps in my breast but my right one still has that hard non painful pointy bump? What’s happening

Please go get it checked right away! Back in May, I felt a hard, pokey lump that didn’t move and didn’t hurt. It was about the size of a walnut and literally appeared out of nowhere, I ended up having 2 types of Cancer, Ductal Carcinoma In Situ (DCIS) and also a rare invasive metaplastic carcinoma.

@mommajess I absolutely concur with @mchler73 I would get that checked out, now. Sometimes a lump will appear with hormonal changes and then disappear but it sounds like this is not the case. I was in my 30s and had this same idea, except I was a really busy girl and 3 months slipped to 6 months and then I had a real problem. If it turns out to be nothing, then you get to celebrate, but if it is something you get to deal with it before it really has a chance to get growing, meaning less invasive surgery, and less toxic type treatments. You can call a surgeon, or if you have an gyno doctor, and they can guide you. Will you come back and tell me what you find out?
