@faithwalker007 Beautiful dogs and pictures of snow
Thank you. You’re. All of you too! Are wonderful.
I think the DEA has way too much power to interfere with the Drs' treatments.
@ellens How are you today been thinking of you I know the DEA has to stop interfering with our lives I sent petition to others hope for the best Take care
Lioness, I am doing pretty well today, thank you. I just found the site for the petition and will check it out. You take care, too.
@jesfactsmon Thank you for the welcome! That is correct about the two distinct types of headaches. The migraines respond well to my preventative and usually respond well to abortives if I catch them early enough. I've dealt with those since I was 12 so I've had lots of years to learn how to manage those and work with my doctor on finding the right medications for those. The TAC headaches are very different from migraines. They did not respond to any form of pain relief in the moment or things like moving to a dark room or laying down like a migraine would, they are side-locked and accompanied by autonomic symptoms on that side only like my right eye being very photosensitive and my right sinus feeling very irritated, and they are fairly short (45-90 minutes/attack with at least 7 of those throughout the day) which is really hard and too short to really treat on the spot anyway. The main goal at this point is to try to control them from a prevention standpoint, hence the nerve block that I will be getting this Tuesday to see if that will help. I will look into the two things you mentioned though. Thanks for the suggestion! I would certainly encourage your wife to go see a doctor. If they can figure out the kind of headache, there are some really helpful treatments out there.
Absolutely @jimhd! I'm right behind and beside both of you Renee and Jim! May you have relief today!! Sunny
@rseago87
Yes, I did read a little about TAC headaches and how they come as a burst and then go away. Very unusual, I was not aware of headache behavior like that. Well I sure hope the nerve block helps to pre-empt them. What a hassle having so many in a day, just about shoots any ability to do much other than enjoy the relief in between as you wait for the next onset. Yuk!
I'll mention your suggestion to my wife (who never uses a computer or smartphone, hence why I am on here instead of she -she's the one with health issues up the wazoo) about discussing her headaches with her doctor. She is not only drug averse but doctor averse as well (as am I, I must admit). But it's something to look into. Good luck on getting some relief. Best, Hank
I wish and pray you feel better today too. I just hate what you're going through!!! Many blessings and God's peace for your soul, Sunnyflower. 🙏🤗🌹
Okay, thank you! Sunnyflower
