Wow!Finally someone who knows how I am suffering. I have had 3 cortisone shots in my pes bursae. Helps for awhile. What is a PRP injection? You are correct. My first dr never treated the real problem, just another TKR to him. Have to wait 4 months until my next specialist visit to address the bumps under my skin. He won't do anything until 1 year has passed.

I had 12 large suture bumps from the top of my knee, around the patella and ending on my shin bone. I had to wait also each time before he would do surgery. I have had 4 cortisone shots in my pes. To this day it is sore to the touch and slightly red. The first 2 dr didn't recognize the pes anserine bursae. I feel for you too.
