Appreciated your comments and was surprised that my cardiologist didn't see a reason to hold off the Rx. I did have major dental surgery twice within in 6 months recently . Not an issue the first time but the second time a few weeks ago , I had some issues in my mind. Also, I had major foot surgery about a year ago ...(I may have noted that in my prior comments) -- my cardiologist said the opposite.

joaf37 - I have a question regarding your dental surgeries. What was the reason for the dental surgeries? If you're uncomfortable answering, I understand. For me, in the Spring I had some teeth become loose and when being examined I had three break off at the gum line. This also took out two bridges. About 3-4 months later I had another tooth become loose and painful. It had to be extracted. My question is WHY? The dentist did not have any answers. I feel if I can't determine why, then is it going to happen again. This is so frustrating. I get cleanings every 4 months and have for some years now. Before then it was twice a year. I do have a autoimmune condition called Lichen Planus which does exhibit itself in gums and other parts of the body. I had COVID September 2022 and a GI bleed in late November 2022. I'm sure most folks would say that it's just my age (78) but I just can't think it's the calendar. When you see one specialist they really don't have the knowledge to pull everything together with what the other doc's are treating and how it can be linked together. Sorry to be so wordy but just looking for common clues. Best to you. Faye
