I need to have two teeth extracted due to resorption issues and then plan to have implants. I expressed concern to my dentist about my unmedicated low bone density, and he is not worried. Said he would prefer I not be on meds prior to the procedure, and he routinely uses bovine bone implants with everyone regardless. I’m sure there are many opinions on that, and it likely differs from person to person, but I found it reassuring.
