@rjd I did the full two years of Tymlos. The two year limit has been lifted for Forteo but not Tymlos as yet, since it is newer. I actually did 26 months while I waited to decide next steps. The Tymlos was no longer building bone but was maintaining.

My doc's protocol is Reclast after Tymlos but I convinced him to allow me to do Evenity for further bone growth, especially femur neck. I did have excellent gains on Tymlos.

I called Amgen and they can only say that the FDA approved dose, based on studies, is approved. They refer me to my doc who refers me to Amgen!

I read that those of us who are small and low weight have greater "exposure" to Evenity (and other meds of course).

OK....too bad. For some reason I thought the time limits were lifted for both Forteo and Tymlos.

You would think that with all the money to be made, Amgen might be doing trials for establishing longer use periods.....and then, you could enroll.!!!!!!
