Why are you refusing to do ADT or similar?

I don’t want ADT either. Lucky I do not have pain yet. Cancer moved to my spine and a couple of ribs. Report was said to be minor at this time. My doc. Wants me to do Eligard after a dose of casodex (bicalutamide). I was on casodex for 2 months. My psa dropped from 21 to 6.5. Stopped casodex because I came down with heart failure. With that I quit casodex and now I have crt-d difilabrator. Meanwhile my psa went up to 25. I went back on casodex, hopefully to bring my psa way down. Too many bad stories on Eligard. It don’t cure or treat cancer. It is a palliative care, to relieve you of pain. But I do not have pain yet. I’m 83 next month, feel pretty good with all the meds my cardiologist gave me. I am also my wifes’ caregiver. Any opinions will be very welcome. My opinion is at 83 years of age I’d rather go with meds to control the pain when it comes.
