Sutures didn't dissolve after tkr revision

These are not stitches. The surgeon says they are sutures. They are hard like bone and the size of large peas. They are in a row curved around my knee cap.

I have the exact same thing! I saw my surgeon at 9 months, who said to give it more time. It’s been a year, and it hurts when I try to bend down. It restricts me from doing more exercises. I’ll be seeing my surgeon the end of this month, and I’ll insist he do something. I’ll keep you posted.
