@pfbacon Hi. Glad to help. I get the CBD salve from anandahemp.com They sell only one salve, so that is the one! It is about $25.00 I get the cbd drops that I put in the dropper from cbdistillery.com I get the 2500mg. drops, that do have the minimum dose of .03% THC. I find that these drops are quite relaxing, and take pain away. Both companies are very reputable, and ship products to your home. Let me know if you need anything else..... Lori Renee
I'm so sorry to butt into this conversation but does this really work for you because if it does I would like to get a dose of that to how much do you take how many times a day and how do I know what I can take and what the side effects might be I'm sorry for asking so many questions and I'm sorry for getting involved in your conversation but I'm in so much pain today I can't walk and I'm hurting so bad that all I do is cry all day so I read your blog and I just I'm interested
Thanks, all of you. Jim, I will ask my doc about Imipram. I was given morphine once, it gave me a blinding headache and put me to sleep - no euphoria that's for sure. I have had codeine cough syrup and codeine tablets, I take 1/2 the recommended dosage and go right to sleep - no euphoria with that either. I can take 1/2 of a Tramadol during the day, it doesn't make me sleepy or any kind of high, just dulls the pain so I can get on with my life. Lori, I will also ask doc if I can try the lowest dose of digestible CBD oil possible. I had a terrible reaction to pot (in the 70's) and I don't know which ingredient in the pot caused it. I tried the cbd cream, did nothing. Lioness, I have been to the Edgar Cayce Center in Virginia Beach, I will look online for their cbd tea. Anything is worth trying - the condition is advancing so quickly in me that my prescriptions are constantly changing. It's wearing me out - it's a full time job just keeping track of all my medicines and when they are due. Humana Insurance just started requiring patients to make 4 trips to the pharmacy to pick up Tramadol - they will only pay for 7 tablets at a time. Peggy
Peggy,
If you don't mind me asking...why do you only take 1/2 tramadol? Doesn't sound like it causes side effects. Might a whole go father for your pain?
Just asking as my goal is to get off hydrocodone but exploring back up, safe, affordable options.
Thanks for any input.
Rachel
@pfbacon The website is http://www.baar.com the catalogue is in Cayce Care at Edgar Cayce. I like the tea they also have drops and a cream that is more then I can afford its 90.00 I'm going for a cup of tea now as the pain is starting to get bad.
I am off of hydrocodone because you have to go to a I am off of hydrocodone because you have to go to a pain clinic in order to get that kind of medication course it's a full-blown opioid..i take Tramadol/APAP 325mg. According to the pharmacist a doctor can prescribe that on an ongoing basis because it doesn't qualify as a full-blown opioid
I did start on tramadol originally when I wasn't diagnoses properly and it did not help me. However, with my lidocaine infusions providing a percentage of relief, maybe it would be enough to balance it out. Hydro does now except on some occasions.
Curious if anyone has tried both and can compare Tradol vs. CBD/thc??
I know that self-diagnosis is a dangerous thing, but I also know that those of us who suffer with unknown pain keep searching for the answer. Recently I read quite a lot about CSF Leakage, and I truly believe that is what is going on for me. Does anyone have first hand experience with cerebral spinal fluid leakage? I would love to hear from you about what symptoms brought you to the diagnosis. The more I read about it the more I find I have almost all the symptoms. I have an appointment with a neurologist on the 21st. I hope I can deal with the non-stop headache till then. I also hope he doesn't laugh at me for trying to be my own doctor. Please let me know what you know about this problem. Thanks
You should only take painkillers when you need it and the CBD is something you do everyday twice a day but there are other treatments as I mentioned before as anti-inflammatories and eating properly. You've got to get off the opioids and try and exercise as if you can keep moving that would really help. That pemf back that I just got sent to me as I've tried it in two days and I definitely feel better and I just started. I hope I'm not imagining it but this get your blood circulating and it Technologies been around for years, but doctors do not prescribe it cuz it's not FDA-approved and it's not covered by insurance Spirit you've got to think out of the box
@rwinney Hi I have done both . The CBD,thc gave me headache and I didn't like the loopy feeling I got so I drink the hemp-chamomile tea from Baar its from the Edgar Cayce foundation A.R.E. My TramadolHCL is 50 mg and I only take it at night I can take it twice a day but don't need to . I haven't had any problems getting the prescription. Dr. gives me 90 at a time
