Jackie, can you tell me more about taking tacro/envarsus XR together with prednisone? You stated it affects the tacro levels. I am one year out from kidney transplant and my tacro levels go up and down all the time and it is very stressful. With an increase, I get anxious, shaky, tremors, foggy brain a bit, hard to focus and concentrate, hard to make decisions. But I have no choice as I have to take the envarsus (tacro). Do you take the prednisone at a different time than the envarsus (tacro)? I just got reduced to 2.5mg prednisone from 5mg. I take 2.25mg envarsus XR extended release. Blessed holiday, BB

Hi I am almost 2 1/2 yrs post kidney transplant. I now take Envarsus 1.5mg first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. I take 5mg of Prednisone at 1pm with food. My bloodwork is all normal except for a low gfr 36-39. Creatinine range 1.48 - 1.58. Transplant nephrologist not concerned. Makes me nervous its so low. I am goi g to ask for the Cystatin C reading.
