I'm having the Nevro HFX trial for severe lumbar stenosis that causes throbbing in my calf muscles after walking or standing for only 3 or 4 minutes. I am having last minute jitters. Does anyone know if there have been any nerve damage or extremely negative effects during the trial for this device ?

I think you need to rely on the advice and experience of your pain management doctor to be able to have more confidence in the Nervo HF10 back implant. The patient experiences I've read about are very positive. Doesn't last forever tho, maybe a year or two at best.

I've have tried just about all of the manufacturer's of all the SCS'S. One helped Boston Scientific about 50% reduction the pain in my toes, however bothersome parathesia came with it, so I had it removed two months later. Perhaps, I should have given it more time. The company reps can do adjustments. I don't think it caused any serious side effects.
