Well, this is it-what I’ve been fearing. My brother and I will be homeless in 2 weeks. I can’t believe it. It’s come down to this-me on disability and him with only a part time job. He’s tried and tried for something full time but his age works against him. And we have a 10 year old dog who we love!!! I can’t believe this!

@karen00

Just wondering if your 10-year-old dog, is what is keeping you from low-cost housing?

@hopeful33250 Hey Teresa, yes that’s part of it. I don’t have children and she’s like a daughter to me! Also, I couldn’t put her in a shelter, statistics have shown there are 3 main reasons people won’t adopt a particular dog- if it’s black, big, and older and she’s all 3. I will die before I see her in a shelter! Plus, where would I go? I’m on oxygen at night and have meds to keep cool during the day! I feel I’m on the edge of a cliff getting ready to fall over.

Each state has a program to help almost or soon to be homeless. The state. Federal goverment ,salvation army. Call 211 for many energy numbers u will not find elsewhere.
I know all building supply stores like home depot and liwes are hiring up to 78 years old. For your brother good luck

Does anybody have bad left leg pain that travels down to they're foot ? I have had upper leg pain for alot of years. I have 2 spinal cord stimulators now. One in my head and one in my back. But the numbness and pain in left foot is new. Just wondering if I'm the only one with pain that travels down that far ? Thanks, Scott Williams

Does anyone have experience with coccydynia? I've had it for four years but I've had other troubles that required my attention first. Now that those other problems are quiet, I need to get help to sit. I've used a coccyx seat for years and it just seems to press on the areas that are sore. I don't know if it's better with or without the cushion. The Mayo web page listed a specialist in the Pelvic Floor Dysfunction clinic, which is no longer available?? So my PCP referred me to gynecology. It sounds like they'll check me for reproductive issues and then send me to the pain management clinic for a group session. My doctor wants me to get a steroid injection. So I'm having to go out of my network for a caudal block. And then she's sending me to the Midwest Tailbone Treatment Center. Am I wasting my time going to gynecology?

Hi, @harleymama - You'll notice I moved your post here to an existing discussion in the Chronic Pain group where many members are talking about pain. If you click on VIEW & REPLY in your email notification, you will see the whole discussion and can join in, meet, and participate with other members talking about their or their loved ones' experiences.

Hoping that @psearby17 @ursweetpam @sandytoes14 @jfsherley @wsh66 will have some thoughts for you on how to solve the problem with sitting with coccydynia, as well as any input on getting steroid injections. They may also have some thoughts on the suggested visit to Gynecology.

Have you found anything that led to relief at any point in your last four years with this condition, @harleymama?
