@oregongirl I'm so sorry you hurt your ribs thankfully they aren't broken but painful I'm sure Maybe ice will help to calm the inflammation and drinking Golden Milk also just rest till they get better Remember Ginger-Tumeric tea for inflammation also .Wishing you well.
I am so sorry about your rib pain. I am also sorry that our society has come to the point where people that are honestly hurt and in pain cannot get the pain medication they need. Please give us updates as to how you are doing.
I have tried I think every thing when it first happened to me it was 17 yrs. Later that they said it was nerve damage I can't even stand for some one to touch me on my side it just so bad
I have CRPS. I was originally told by my surgeon that it was a problem with the nerves. When my doctor first touched my foot, I about jumped off the table.
I was diagnosed about 2 years ago now. After a broken ankle. The pain is unexplainable to any one else. I got a nerve blocker in my leg, it worked. But the disorder likes to move on to another part of the body. It went to my hand and arm , my hand was blue and purple, they call it mermaid skin, then it went atrophied. I tried gabapentin, then nerve blockers. They didn't work so I have a spinal implant now. It helped my arm amazingly and luckily they put in 2 leads, cause it jumped to my other arm. It's really hard, weather changes, stress all change how I feel each day. But medical marijuana has helped immensely. If its available go to a pharmacy and talk to them, there really knowledgeable. Talk to me any time. Ask any thing you want, or I'll just listen. Renee
rsnowflake. Look into a pain pump. It's what I have and it doesn't matter where your pain locates itself, it gets it all for me. A tiny dose of narcotics goes directly to your spine bypassing your digestive tract. No side affects to deal with, nobody will think your a "drug seeker", as you have no access to the drugs in your pump. 2 to 3 mgs. per day of dilaudid is all it takes. it is 300 times more effective than oral meds. Won't make you tired or sleepy and it certainly won't get you high.
Question: do you use pot products that contain THC or are they denatured and how do you take it? I hear alot about this I'm not sure what the people who are getting relief are using. It gets it biggest rave reviews from folks in CA and CO. Thanks for helping me with this.

This sounds like what I need so bad
I'm right there with you. I live in Alabama, so I think I'm out of luck.
Sometimes I use the vape pen with thc and cbd. It calms me down and definitely makes me just enough in a little high to forget about fairly constant pain. I also use capsules with thc and cbd because I have chronic respiratory problems and the Cbd helps with anti- inflammation. Its been very helpful. Good luck. If you want 2 talk or just need someone to hear other experiences. Renee
I tried one little pull off one of those vape pens and it scared me half to death and I was not a newcomer to THC. Child of the sixties. They put me in jail where I live for that. Glad it's helping
