I fell and damaged my ribs. Fortunately for me I have very good bones. I suffer from RA, Afib, and chronic pain. When my dog knocked me down last week,. Now this is a story for another time. I went to ER by ambulance. I am 76. They sent me home after x Ray's. No breaks. But lots of pain. They refused me and pain med. My blood Pressure is usually very very normal 128 over 76. It climbed to 150 in ER and today I am 180 over 80. There is no exceptions on pain meds for seniors. What to do. Now my primary gave me Tylonol with codeine. Enough for 3 days..

@oregongirl I'm so sorry you hurt your ribs thankfully they aren't broken but painful I'm sure Maybe ice will help to calm the inflammation and drinking Golden Milk also just rest till they get better Remember Ginger-Tumeric tea for inflammation also .Wishing you well.

I am so sorry about your rib pain. I am also sorry that our society has come to the point where people that are honestly hurt and in pain cannot get the pain medication they need. Please give us updates as to how you are doing.
