I had extreme swelling in my ankles when I initially started azithromycin and ethambutol. Of course the doctors said it wasn’t the medication but I was sure it was. I had never experienced that before. They referred me to my PCP who couldn’t find a reason for it and also thought it could be the medication. Anyway, he prescribed a water pill for a couple of weeks and I’ve been fine ever since.

That is word for word exactly what I did and what the docs said and did for me. I’ve been on that for over a month so it seemed weird to come out of no where. Good to hear it resolved!
