@lburn The calendar idea or something similar could work. It might be worth a try. The calendar should be a desk size calendar tacked on the wall. Each day when the nurse gives her the medications, the nurse can sign her name, and have your mom put a sticker on. I had a very similar situation when I was a nurse. The patient just wouldn’t believe that we gave her her pills. We devised something like the calendar and it worked pretty well. You might also ask the nurses (those who have been their awhile), what they have done in similar situations.
