pressure top of nose

Hello @kittykat1, Welcome to Connect. I've always had trouble breathing through one side of my nose but have never felt the pressure like you describe. I went to a ENT at Mayo who prescribed a proprietary nasal spray with 3 different ingredients. The 3 ingredients are Mometasone to reduce inflammation, Ipratropium to reduce nasal drainage and Diphenhydramine which is an antihistamine to help reduce nasal drainage. The product description on my prescription is MOMET 0.033% – IPRA 0.02% – DIPH 0.02%. I used the nasal spray for about 3 months and it really helped. The doctor diagnosed it as chronic rhinitis.

I forgot to mention that after I finished with the nasal spray I was doing daily morning and evening nasal rinses to keep the sinus clear which really helped but got tiring. I found fairly inexpensive device to use instead of the daily nasal rinse - SinuSonic (https://sinusonic.com/) and have been using it for almost 2 years and it works well for keeping my nose breathing clear. This past week I found another device and ordered it to see if it might work better - ClearUp (https://tivichealth.com/). It's more spendy but if it works it will be well worth it since this one should last longer and the SinuSonic last for 6 months and you have to replace it.
