Does anyone find that a type of shoe helps your foot neuropathy?
I am on a constant quest for shoes that don't kill my feet due to the neuropathy. I find that Spencos and Wolky shoes seem the best. Are there any other suggestions? Shoes can be just crippling for me. Horrid.

Thank you so much for sharing, and for your kind thoughts. This is helpful to me. I have been struggling with custom orthotics all year. I have heard some people say they are a miracle and really work, but that has not been my experience so far. I’m glad you brought that up. Pain-free walking sounds wonderful!
Orthofeet has the most wonderful boots. I bought a pair last year (maybe year before) and I buy a half size larger, extra wide toe. They’re flat but have arch support and are warm!
Ortho is working well for me now. The shoes come with inserts you can manage until you find what fits you best—type orthofeet.com in your browser to find out about them.
I have PN with numbness in my toes. For athletic shoes, I wear only New Balance shoes because they have a wide toe box, which helps considerably. I suppose they provide a bit of extra wiggle room and circulation perhaps, and they're recommended for those with PN by medical providers.
And for sleep, my Heat Holders socks do their job in keeping my numb toes and feet warm and thus enabling me to sleep.
Best wishes.
Brooks Ghost 14. Fantastic. Comfortable from the get go. Wore them daily on 10,000+ steps per day five week vacation. Never even was anxious to take them off so my feet could rest. They were wonderful.
No, but I bought some stockings from Costco that are priced low and are made of pure Merino wool, thick and warm!
I have HOKA Bondis and Skechers. But my preference unless it's extremely cold weather is my CROCs (mule style). I wear them both in the house and out and about. Most of the time, I wear socks with them. Very comfortable. More room for my toes.
I wear Ortho feet sneakers with Dr. Scholl's work insoles added. The only combo that provides a modicum of relief to my aching feet. Regular shoes are terrible. I have Skechers sneakers, also, with Dr. Scholl inserts as well. They are not quite as comfy as the Ortho Frrt, but not bad. And a lot less expensive, Of course, I would pay a thousand dollars for a pair of shoes that took away the neuropathy completely. I know, just a pipe dream.
I’ve ordered a pair of Oofos clogs for work (I’m a chef and on my feet all day)
Waiting for their arrival with bated breath!
New Balance walking shoes, size 10 6E have been good for me. I like them not being cramped, having the 6E width helps....
