Going gluten free is good for reducing inflammation of all sorts. I think everyone should try it for a month to see what happens. My Psoriasis went away and my wife's digestive issues vanished as well. You don't have to allergic to gluten or have celiac disease to be negatively affected by gluten. Buy "Three Bakers" Ancient grain bread, never Udis's, and use Jovial noodles. Those two brands are the best. Any brown rice noodles are OK but Jovial actually taste like real paste. The others taste like a bowl of brown rice which is OK if you want brown rice. Not so much if you want pasta. Pasta made from corn and white rice are lacking flavor and texture. Regular Asian Rice Noodles are great but they aren't pasta. Inflammation is at the root of many conditions including arthritis and cancer. It's worth the effort to try.
Thanks.

Hello @ springwater; I am Gary and a volunteer mentor. Could the cramps be related to hydration? I know that seems simplistic, but disease and prescription meds can lead to dehydration even if fluid intake is good. I have bad foot/leg cramps almost nightly, but I stay dried out because of diabetes and some of my meds and I consume about 12-15 cups of water daily. You are right about the effects of being on sun=ch high doses of antibiotics repeatedly; your immune system can become compromised and your gut ecosystem is devastated. Magnesium (another mineral depleted by many prescript. medicines) and an anti-oxidant supplement seem to help some with my leg cramps. As, others have said, I am certainly not a Dr., but do have way more experience with pain than I would ever want for me or anyone.
Blessings and best wishes, Gary
