Following a head injury was put on gabapentin due to extreme pain, nausea, etc while at Bethesda (then a Naval hospital, now Walter Reed). It worked great for about two weeks then my left eye wanted to see my nose. Was taken off and 30 days later back to norm. I take 25mg amitriptyline at night now for neuropathy from a spinal cord injury in 2020. It helps. I also take a kratom supplement that also assists with the pain. Between the two the pain and tingling is reduced. I still have numbness in feet and three fingers on left hand. My observations are it might take more than just one medication, but a combo. We are all different. I did try a number of “snake oils” prior to finding the above works. I also rub on my feet an arnica Montana gel and a CBD lotion twice a day. The CBD is a full spectrum. THC is not absorbed thru the skin, at least science today claims so. Over all a shotgun approach treatment.

You mentioned a Kratom supplement. I did a quick dive in info and caught many concerns. I didn't go deeply into it so don't know what or how bad. Have you had any problems?
