Here are a few reasons why neuropathy is/can be worse at night according to the the Cleveland Clinic.

Back when I had neuropathy pain it was worse during the day, especially when standing still.

This article is not very helpful. I have done so much searching and it seems that no one has the answer. To the contrary, there are many opinions. Many the same as those from Cleveland Clinic.
I have mentioned in other past posts we now have the Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy. I hope that in their research they find the answers to our questions about our disease.
