Just started peeing straight up blood. Uncomfortable. Constant urge

If I'm peeing quite a bit of blood and having constant urge to pee.. is that usually a sign of a UTI? Should I start on my amoxicillin? How can I calm the urge to pee? Trying to find a doctor

Hospital said she'd passed a kidney stone And had a UTI. She's on antibiotics now. Ty everyone!
