Thank you so much for the reply @wsh66 . I had never heard of a pain pump - so good to learn about this as I do worry about the longer term effects on my stomach of all the ibuprofen I take. Furthmore - very interested in your gluten-free advice for inflammation. It must be hard to do as gluten seems to be in so many things. But anything is worth a try ! Thanks again
Thank you so much for your reply @lioness . Yes I agree - a hot bath always helps with the fibro. Also I find lying flat on a hard floor on my back can help- although must be careful when getting back up ! Like the idea of the Epsom salts- I will definitely go out and get some of those . Thanks again for your advice
I've had fibro for over 30yrs as a nurse being on my feet the exercise helped me ,when I retired I wasn't as active and hurt more so I do chair exercises and this makes the fibro bearable, helps ,you can buy tapes the one I have is armchair fitness aerobics
Your welcome there is a tube of Epsom salts rub on vacation I used it it helps
I love lying on the hard wood floor and it does hurt but also feels good. I only do it when my son is here visiting. He has a bad back ad does the same thing. He showed me his trip for getting up. I must be cautious. My 11 Vertabra was replaced by concrete. Don't want to go through that again.
Yes be very careful it does feel good but I have hard time getting up
Lying on the floor and doing stretching exercises that were given to me during the time I was in physical therapy helps a lot. They have helped me get through many painful hours.
Gluten-free is actually pretty easy. Gluten is only found in wheat flour. There are plenty of good replacements on the market. Three Bakers breads are the best that I found. The best pasta substitute is jovial. The J in that name should be capitalized, it's a brand. I just had Honey Nut Chex for breakfast most Chex cereals are gluten-free. Gluten-free baked goods like cakes are delicious. Most places offer gluten-free hamburger buns but they aren't very good. Many pizza places offer gluten free crust which are good. Try it for a month it's worth the effort. Inflammation leads to so many other problems if you can get rid of any inflammation it's worth your time and effort.
