I agree with @bendeb, everyone’s body is different and you may have symptoms one illness and it might be another. Even if you’re scared of going to the gyn, it’s important to rule out anything scary.
Could be a lot of things and you’re young. Always imagined the worst myself, try to be positive, the body is so complex. May be something very simple, example thyroid disfunction, hormonal changes, stress, and the blood changes every 7 years, so hang in there. But it’s good to stay vigilant, Big hugs 🤗 stay in touch, you’ve got friends 😉
@amayali You are 21-years-old so I think the likelihood that you are experiencing something else, not ovarian cancer, is good. I understand the frightening prospect of going to a gynecologist given what you described. Your tendency, like most of us, is to avoid what is frightening. In this case, you are worried enough that going to the gynecologist and getting some answers will be short. Please tell yourself that worrying about ovarian cancer doesn’t give you the answers you want.
What do you do for yourself when you worry and are frightened? Go for a walk? Go to the gym? Talk with a friend?
Everyone is different. I had no symptoms until I was in Stage 2. Ovarian cancer never entered my mind. Then after a CT scan, I got the news.
Symptoms can be misleading. Wait for results of tests, even though it’s
hard and nerve-racking, and don’t rely on dr. Google for answers. It could be many things, a lot less serious. Good luck.
