I am not a medical person, I also am not pre- or diabetic, but Neuropathy is an animal that treats us all differently and for different reasons, known or unknown. I’ll share with you that my Neuropathy treats me about perfectly symmetrical- I get equal amounts of numbness, tingling, cold, and pain in my left and right extremities at the same time. Have you been to a doctor for nerve tests? I’m just thinking they could maybe check to see if you could have a trapped ulna nerve (like I once had) or if you could be experiencing some carpal tunnel issues.
