Medical marijuana vape for pain relief from Peripheral Neuropathy?
Hello,
Does anyone here use a vape cartridge for pain relief? My feet hurt all the time, not terrible in the morning but by evening they scream at me. I find that a single puff makes all the pain and worry all go away for about 90 minutes, then I fall asleep. I only use it at night, and have tried not doing it two nights in a row, but as the pain gets worse I have used it two nights in a row, and last night was the first time I had it three nights in a row.
I’m concerned about my body getting used to it, and that it will stop working. I’m 58, in great health, and want to know I will have this relief for many years.
I guess the question is, if I use it too much now, will I lose it later, when it will probably be so much worse?

I was the original marijuana man and for years - I was smoking and then vaping but more recently I had to stop completely. My feet stiffened up like boards after the first hit & stayed that way for a while. Who the hell knows why? I miss it but, sad to say, even gummy’s give me the same reaction. I’m bummed!
Were you using an indica. It’s funny I do not know if you are him but there is a marijuana shop called marijuana man online. Living in Texas I seriously doubt it will be legal for medical use any time soon. Looking at moving to Colorado.
It seems not to matter anymore. No I’m not from Texas. NYC transplanted to Miami.
Good evening @artemis1886, thanks for your response. I think this is the section to which you are referring.
"If you are using Indica, that would potentially have less strength than a Sativa strain. So….changing strains can also be a way of increasing the potency of your vape."
I don't quite understand your concern. The young man who had the dispensary in my village explained the strains to me. I tried a combination of Indica/Sativa during my introduction to medical marijuana. I stayed with Indica.
Sorry if you found the sentence confusing.
May you be safe, protected and free from inner and outer harm.
Chris
Sativa has primarily an energizing effect, while indica has a relaxing effect and can help you sleep.
This was explained to me be by my pain management doctor.
I have only tried edibles twice. Once in Colorado and once in California. The medical person helped me that normally works only on the medical side of marijuana. The person went and got the other person to help me. In the dispensary. The two times I tried it I used an indica and it took away the pain and let me sleep. What scares me is I once got a contact high on marijuana at a party and hallucinationated really bad and it scared me. So I worry about trying to use marijuana on a regular basis.
I think you misunderstood my texts, I am from Texas and stationed in Germany. Marijuana will always be illegal in Texas. Medical Marijuana is legal in Germany. I can’t smoke due to being asthmatic. I would only be able too do tincture or edibles. I can’t have any butane in them. Some edibles and tinctures do. Any kind of smoke triggers my asthma. My problem is I have a hard time sleeping due to the pain in which triggers my seizures. I am asking if people have experience using marijuana for sleep. I personally would not use it all the time. I don’t like feeling like I am out of control. That’s what I dislike about anesthesia. I have over 50 different drug allergies. I can’t take gabapentin and lyrica like the majority of people on this website.
I’m in Miami where medical marijuana is legal. There are many reactions you can get to all the strains. If you don’t want to get high you should try CBD which is legal and readily available.
CBD has healing qualities & should give you a good nights sleep…and they’re available online.
Google which one is best for you & give it a try.
It sounds to me that you shouldn’t do any strain of marijuana ~ why make yourself uncomfortable.
When we younger none of these problems existed but it’s not that way anymore.
Enjoy Germany ~ stay safe.
I live in Florida as well. Can find CBD products here, but always with some THC in it.
Right now trying 5 CBD & 1 THC
Don’t know which website to look at on line.
Can you help me out?

Bruce
I’m in Jacksonville. Have Pudendal Nerve Nauralgia.
To tell you the truth I had never heard of it and am finding out that it is an absolute nightmare to live with.
Can’t wear pants!!
Looking for some relief, especially at night.
I have have found that one THC gummy (20%) a half hour before bed helps relieve the pain and cramping enough to allow me get to sleep. I know everyone is different but it might be worth a try if you can't smoke or vape.
