Anyone have experience with tingling and loss of feeling in fingers?
I have developed this difficulty recently. I once had carpal tunnel but this tingling in the hands and loss of feeling in the fingers is different. It shows up when I'm still in bed in the morning, when I sit to write or drink tea, when I sit still to watch TV. I do have irregular heart rhythms for which I am being treated. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I had something similar years ago. My fingers would be numb and even turn very white. For me, it was a circulation problem. When that happened, I ran hot water over my hands and it helped. Also I turned up the heat and wore gloves. That helped too. However, with you having additional health problems, you should probably mention this to your doctor.
Good luck!

Thanks for your suggestion. I’ll try the warm water.
Hello. I have an irregular heart rhythm and being treated. I get very cold fingers and toes, especially now in Fall and Winter. My medical provider wants to focus on getting the heart back in rhythm and then we’re going to talk about the cold extremities. I recently had a cardioversion and have begun taking Eliquis, metropolis and losartan. I think the cardioversion helped. I will have a follow up check up in a few weeks. I had testing done last March, because my toes were turning bright red when they got cold. The ultrasound indicated that there was a very limited blood flow and pulse to my toes. I wear warmer socks, move more, and have turned the heat up!
Hello, I am unsure if you have diabetes, for me the tingling is a result of my battle with the disease. It gets worst at night and at cold temperature. It was the first time I read here that something warm is needed. I will also try it. For me, watching and following youtube instructions on numb fingers helped.
Thank you so much
I get tingling on the entire side of my head, most days.
Not sure what to do about it, It does not hurt. Any suggestions?
Hi my symptoms only involved my fingers and my toes. They come and go but normally felt in the evenings. It did not go to my head. Please have it checked and do blood work.. hope you get well soon
Having a vitamin B12 level that is too high causes tingling hands and feet. We all need to not take more than is recommended. We have to consider what we get through foods also.
Thanks. I’ll check out how much I’m taking in my supplements. I eat very little red meat. I need to find out what foods have a good source for B12.
I've been noticing it as well. It could be coming from my back, or rheumatism, or something new.
My tingling tends to increase after I eat salty foods such as smoked salmon so I have cut back on it and drink a lot of water to flush out the extra salt that I seem to ingest. .My blood sugar is about 100 so it's not diabetes. Shaking helps, and I will try the warm water approach.
