I think you have to go through the exact same prep for a virtual colonoscopy and then if they see anything like polyps, you may have to have a real one still. They always want to get the polyps out and most folks past a certain age have a few if they eat a typical American diet. So it is good you are getting the best one.

I don't find the prep hard other than the feeling of depravation from the liquid diet, but I play a mind trick for that. I make and place every possible soda/soup/jello/coffee on a tray and take sips/bites of them all for each meal.
