seems something is happening to this site.that needs professional correction. this site should not stop. it is truly needed.
@peach414144. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your fur baby. I understand how difficult such a loss can be. I sure wish cats and dogs lived longer as they bring so much comfort and joy. I, personally, believe they go to heaven and we will see them again. Hugs. ❤
you sweet person. you must remember you are dealing with an 80 year old woman who does not have a smart phone and her flip phone she uses only for an emergency. and if i had a 5 year old around all would be taken care of. wish i was born during your era. to think i had a high i.q.. and even dick tracey had a wrist telephone. wonder if he hd to put a dime in it to work?
Thank you for the complement but I am really close to you in age....74 but who's counting. ☺
I've been gone for two hours, and I just looked at my email and I have got to have at least 30 to 40 email there. I feel like I would like to ask those who are chatting about personal things just start new subject that is just for socializing. I know that that is very important especially for people that are isolated, but I really am interested in the medical suggestions and advice and it's becoming impossible to weed through all the emails to find the ones that are medically pertinent. I really don't want to turn off the subjects that I'm interested in or have to go to a digest form. Noticed in one digest I got there were 73 emails in one day. I would just say I think before you post one sentence that's just chatty. Start a new subject for doing just that. There's nothing wrong with talking.
I just looked it up in the iPhone App Store, it's there called Round Health-Medication Reminder. I just looked it up under the word round and it comes up. It's got a picture of a circle. I don't know it works really well if you can find it.
@jenapower I agree a separate site for chats or allow chats only between those involved. I read some of these and feel like I am violating their privacy, I try not to read all the way thru those I think are more from one individual to another. But I am very interested in things that may help with pain control and other techniques. I just do not want to violate someone personal space. If there was a way to allow individuals to send personal chats to only those involved in the chats that would be great. 19lin
I've written you twice and asked for help. People need to post about the medical issues not socialize. That's why Facebook is there. The amount of emails that are being posted is too much
Sometimes a good remedy for pain is to have a strong support network. There are things you can say here that one may not feel comfortable stating on Facebook. Perhaps there can be a separate thread for emotional and social support?
You can send a private message. Just click on the persons little face icon and it comes up with the page that says 'private message this person'. I really think things like where you live, where you moved, your dogs, cats, children, unless pertaining to your pain, these should be in a personal chat subject thread so that this page can be dedicated to pain, pain management, and related subjects. I asked one of the moderators to state this, but they didn't, so I guess I'm the bad guy now.
