So sorry for your loss. For many of us, our animals are significant parts of our lives.

@jenapower - I looked on apps store, I did not see Round or Round Health, but there are a variety of free apps that help monitor everything, one called medisafe, according to it's information listing, can record your meds and remind you about them plus it has a place for blood pressure, glucose and other stuff. This is just one of several apps to help keep tract of medical information. So if any one is interested just go to the apps store and look under health or medications or similar listings. Thanks for the information jenapower. One caution I have read that cell phones can be hacked very easily so your information could become public if some hacker decides to expose it? But this would be very helpful to have so thanks again. 19lin

@hazelblumberg. LOL, I too feel that California is a beacon of light. I feel so lucky to be living here again. My husband and I moved to northwestern Missouri close to where I was born in 1999, and lived there for 16 years. We opened a restaurant and Bed & Breakfast in an Amish community. The town had 530 people; quite a difference from Silicon Valley where we had been living for 20 yrs in the SF bay area. We wanted to get out of the rat race and constant stress, and we certainly did. However, we are both very progressive people and after awhile it became harder to live there, and stress returned. Then I got the opportunity to consult at a hospital in the high desert in California. We sold the inn to a young Amish woman and moved. When the assignment ended, my stepdaughter, who lives in southern California asked us to live with her and help with her last 2 teenagers (7children total). We decided to take her up her offer and are so happy we did. California values are much closer to our values. My husband was born in LA in 1945, so this is his home. There are many things to do here that help relieve and distract from chronic pain. We feel very lucky to be back here in the beacon of light.
Thanks, Gail B Ledesma
