I have chosen ablation for a bone-on-bone osteoarthritis of my left knee due to an inability to tolerate general anesthetic and major surgery. The ablation procedure will be performed tomorrow. The pain specialist/ anesthesiologist has performed two genicular nerve blocks (required by Medicare?) to determine my likely positive response to the ablation procedure.
