Hi Sue, I have been through a lot of joint/replacement surgeries! I have drug induced lupus, connective tissue disorder, rheumatoid arthritis, bulging discs and bone spurs in my spine. I will not take anything more potent than aleve, (when I remember to take it on a physical workout day)! I thought that if I could find out about some natural ways (like foods), to help with all the inflammation in my body, I would feel better.

where can I find the diet to help with this. My husband has had 7 surgeries (both hips, back, both knees and Achilles tendon both feet) related to bone spurs, inflammation, arthritis etc. they say he needs his hand, foot and shoulder treated with surgery and he doesn’t want to go through anymore. He goes to Rheumatologist next week his ANA came back positive with a history of Lupus in his family.

Also, if you have lupus, there are, I believe, some specific dietary suggestions.
Have you asked your doctor to refer you to a dietician for a consult?
