Hi, I am new to this forum. I have had 3 heat attacks and the last one was in 2016. A few days ago I got an afib episode that lasted just 30 seconds. My cardio office wants to do shock treatment but that was the only episode and I feel fine. I don’t think a person like me that does not have continued afib episodes should do shock.
A friend who is a retired nurse says I should do it because even though I feel good, the afib is still doing its thing. What do you think?
