@06111945cc no, for those of us with advanced osteoporosis, supplements/foods and exercise are absolutely not enough, in my view.
@lashu I am less concerned about the black box warning for Evenity after reading the studies. There was no difference in cardiovascular events between placebo and Evenity, but there were fewer with alendronate, possibly because alendronate actually improves cardiovascular health. According to the study I read. Tymlos also was not initially approved in Europe. I have decided to go ahead with Evenity after Tymlos, then I will do Reclast but 20% doses each time.
Exercise and supplements and proper foods appear to have helped some individuals successfully strengthen their bones and improve their DEXAN results. After six weeks of trying to do the regimens recommended, I feel I am not a good candidate for these. I am caregive for a family member and have obligations toward others that demand attention. While many are capable of addressing these demands as well as following the needed regimens, I am not.
