I’ve been taking Prolia shots for over 5 years. However, I’ve noticed that my hair is very thin and my part is getting wider and wider. I didn’t realize prolia could be the reason for it. I have to skip injection this year due to tooth being pulled. So I would be able to have bone loss replaced after tooth removed.

Hi princessd, I wish you a healthy and safe dentist experience: do you have to skip injection for a whole year? couldn't you resume treatment right after the extraction? I also hope your hair stops thinning and hope my won't thin, it's thin enough already. Please post how you are doing with your dental work. I shall be thinking of you and hoping for your very best outcome.

I stopped taking Prolia in anticipation of dental work and after almost three months off of it, I fractured T4 and T5. I was in SO MUCH pain. Had to wear a full back brace. Finally had cement injected into the fractures. Just a warning if you stop taking Prolia. Unfortunately, as far as I know, almost any osteo drug and invasive dental do not go hand in hand. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
Hair loss: Yep, me too.
