His next doctor appointment is mid November. He's been refusing any further testing. This is why I'm desperate for something natural. He's successfully avoided a diagnosis so far. What do I do? The doctor is on to him, has tried to line up various tests and visits with specialists. Husband adamantly refuses all. I believe the term is "anasognosia." He really doesn't think he has anything wrong happening.

There comes a point where you just have to work with the info you have. My hubs was officially diagnosed with LBD 3+ years ago. He had a comprehensive neuro-psych eval. He has an excellent care team & is on several meds. He stopped driving about 18 months ago. And yet most days he STILL believes he ok, much better, back to normal. And he can’t understand why he can’t start driving again. I think the extreme fluctuations in some types of dementia perpetuate the continued denial.

My husband was diagnosed with lbd and he mow says he does not have lbd. He has no symptoms. Now he got driving restriction of 50 miles and he is furious as he is a “perfect” driver. We have a courage kenny driving appt nov 8. I dont know what s see will happen there.
