Dear Gabe. Thanks so much for this sharing. I am having this exact "feeling" now for the 3rd time. First 2 lasted a few days, with couple of years in-between.
I mentioned it to my doctor once, he did not seem to worry or want to act on it.

The hardest is not to understand what's happening.

I will add that during these days I have had much more burps. So maybe reflux related problems I will try to investigate first.
